News: January 10, 2k10 So the website is finally filling out. Though most of my constant updates will be through myspace still. And there will always be more work on there as well. I have just started the 365 days project on flickr. This is my photo from today [4/365]. follow the project here I am still trying to get all of my online presences updated and lately I have been working on show ideas for the 2010 Season at Limelight, Fine tuning the characters for Sucker and the Chittering Horror, and continuing work on Laughter and Forgetting, 365 Drawings, and a 3rd currently unnamed collaborative series with Jacob Silva. Here is the latest drawing from 365 Drawings... You'll hear more when there's more. Ciao. [December 2009] Things are still really crazy around here. I have been working as Art Director for the Limelight for the past year now. It has been great working with all the San Antonio artists and meeting all their fans. I am also in the middle of moving right now so hopefully things will slow down a little soon. I am excited to announce that I received word today that I will be illustrating my first children's book by another writer. So look forward to the progress on that and more pieces from "Laughter and Forgetting". This series should be ready for showing this summer and I am currently looking for a gallery to house that show so contact me at sara@vodkairish.com if you would like to be that gallery. [July 2009] Support Local Arts: San Antonio is growing pretty well. The first SLA shows went very well, so I would like to offer my thanks to all the artists, friends, and donators who helped make that possible. [May 2009] Things have been really hectic around here. Currently I'm trying to get this website back up on top of the new one for my non-profit, Support Local Arts San Antonio. Once those are taken care of, you'll be sure to hear from me on all that has been taking place in the past six months or so. [October 2008] Hey guys, been working on several projects recently. Currently in store: Nov. 1st: Limelight's Art Slam for Dia de los Muertos. I'll be painting faces all night, so come check it out. Jan. 1st-Feb. 1st: Artwork will be displayed at Limelight. I am also curating the rest of the show for Limelight, so if you want anything displayed for the month of January please contact me. Also in store...there is no final date yet, but i am participating in a national group show called "100 Drawings". more news to come on that later. Still working on the site. I've been in the process of moving and trying to recover old data from this site. [February 2008] Sorry for the inconvenience, but the site is under construction. Some areas aren't accessible at the moment and some links may be dead. Hopefully things will be running normally within a month.
